Formal application for admission is made on an Application form.

  • The forms can be downloaded from our website www.umma.ac.ke.
  • Download the application form;
  • Fill-out the hard copy accordingly:
     
    • Attach copies of Academic Certificates/Transcripts and
    • A non-refundable, non-creditable application fee of
    • Kshs 1,000.00 for degree and masters and
    • Ksh 500 for Diploma and Certificate respectively.
  • Drop dully-filled application to admission’s office on weekdays or scan the documents and send via email to: admissions@umma.ac.ke.


Alternatively, mail by post to the

Admissions Office – Umma University Kajiado main Campus Kajiado. The application fee can be paid by banker's cheque or deposit in the following Umma University bank accounts:

  • Application form for Short-Term Courses Our academic year commences in the first week of September (Full time programmes). Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Office before the 31st August.


Deans Committee sits every month to process applications. The decision of the Admissions Committee is final.

  • For regular programs, we have: January, May and September Intakes.
  • For the evening programmes, we have: January, May and September Intakes.
  • For ODeL programs, we have January, May and September intakes.

Applications for admission should be received at least a month before commencement of the programme.
