To be qualified for admission into this program, the prospective candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:

• An aggregate mean grade of C+ (C PLUS) in K.C.S.E. (or equivalent examination) and a minimum grade of C (C PLAIN) in
  Mathematics and English.

Or

• TWO Principal passes in ‘A’ level/Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) with Credit pass in Mathematics.

Or

• A degree or degrees in a relevant field from a University recognized by the Commission for University Education.

Or

• A diploma in Data Science or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the university senate will join the Programme in the First semester of the Second year.

• Programme aims at training learners who have a keen interest in modern computing methodologies specifically finding hidden patterns and solutions through data consumption and analytics.

• Candidates seeking admission are required to fill application forms obtained from the Principals Office - JKUAT – KAREN CAMPUS NAIROBI on payment of non-refundable fee of
  • Kshs. 1,500 for the Postgraduate and Undergraduate Programmes,
  • Kshs. 1,000 for all Diploma Programmes and
  • Ksh. 500 for all certificate programmes.
• The forms can also be downloaded from the Karen Campus website. The application fee can be paid to:

  • a Bankers Cheque.
