  1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C plain with C- in Mathematics or Physics; C- in any 2 of the other science subjects and C plain in English or Kiswahili OR
  2. Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) Division III with a pass in Mathematics or Physics, a pass in any 2 of the other science subjects and a pass in English or Kiswahili OR
  3. Certificate in Agriculture/Community Development or related field
