Course Entry/Admission Requirements for Diploma in County Governance at Taita Taveta University

A candidate must satisfy any of the following minimum requirements:

EITHER

  1. Be a holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum aggregate of C with C- in Mathematics and C- in English.

OR

  1. Be a holder of Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) Division II with a 6 in Mathematics and English.

OR

  1. Be a holder of a Credit pass in any relevant certificate course with at least KCSE Grade C- or KCE III with at least C- in Mathematics and English or 6 in Mathematics and English respectively.

OR

  1. Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the above.

2. Submit The Form after Attaching all the Required Documents

  • Before submission, attach form 4 result slip or certificate, two passport size photographs, copy of National Identity Card or Birth Certificate ,your email address and that of your parent or guardian, your postal address and that of your parent or guardian together with your telephone number and that of your parent or guardian, banking slip or receipt of the application form.

3. Review the Application Documents by the Deans Committee

  • The Deans Committee Reviews the application of the prospective applicants and reach a decision.

4. Communication of the decision of the Deans Committee to the Prospective Student

  • A letter is issued to the student indicating whether he/she was successful or not

Things To Know First

The Common Application is required for students applying to any of the courses offered at TTU. You’ll be able to choose your campus and programs that you are interested.

You will need :

  • banking slip or receipt of the application form fee ( Nonrefundable Ksh. 1,000/= for degree applicants, Ksh 1,500/= for postgraduate applicant’s and Ksh 500/=for Diploma and Certificate applicants).
