Course Entry/Admission Requirements for MSc in Space Physics at African University of Science & Technology

Contact the Admissions Department for a detailed course admission requirements list in addition to the following

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computational Sciences, Engineering or Physical Science from a recognized university with a minimum of Upper Second Class Honours classification or a GPA of at least 3.5.
  • Candidates from francophone countries should have a “Maitrise” degree “avec mention bien” or, better still “avec mention très bien”, and have an acceptable level of proficiency in English.

 In summary, minimum admission requirements must fall within one of the conditions stated below: 

  • 1st Class Honours
  • Strong Upper Second (2:1 Honours)
  • Magna summa cum laude (in the American system)
  • Summa cum laude (in the American system)
  • Maitrise “avec mention très bien” preferred but “avec mention bien” (in the French system) may be considered
