Course Entry/Admission Requirements for PhD in Banking and Finance at University of Calabar Without prejudice to the general requirement for graduate admission, candidates for Ph.D must satisfy the following conditions: (i) A Master’s degree in Banking and finance or Finance with at least an average of ‘B’ grade (60%) which include course work and thesis/dissertation (above 4-point on a 5-point scale system and 3 points on a 4-point scale system); (ii) Candidate must have passed five O’level subjects including Mathematics, English and Economics with Credit at one or two sittings in WASC, NECO or GCE. (iii) Upon admission into the programme, candidate will specialize in either Banking or Finance.
